Rules and Regulations

There are two ways to participate in this Freedom Art Show.  

Option 1: Online (only) Gallery

All art-work is registered online, for international and non
local artists, your art-work is viewable on the gallery. Simply
register, pay the fee, and then upload up to 3 images to
the contest. These images must be uploaded by October
1, 2022.

Option 2: Festival Event Gallery

To submit physical artworks which will be displayed at the Festival Event Art Gallery Pavilion - requires bringing or shipping works to:

by October 8, 2022.

Works can be picked up at the end of the event on Sunday, October 9th, 2022. To have works shipped back after show requires return address & postage included at time of drop off or shipping. Note that at the end of the show, unclaimed work will be auctioned.

Important: Each art works must be registered online with an image (jpg) uploaded by October 1st, 2022. Up to 3 works can submitted per artist.


Age Groups

Youth (ages 6-16) & Adult.
Please note age when registering online.

Submission of artwork must include:

Title, size, medium, and price for each art work (or NFS for “Not for sale”).

Images should be approximately 1 MB and easily viewed in a 1920 x 1080 pixels format.

Entry Fee: up to 3 images works
Youth artwork $5
Adult artwork $10

International artists can bring artwork to the art show at the beginning of the Freedom Festival. Please indicate this on the entry form and upload a photo of your artwork with your entry.

Submission Procedure

For both the Online Gallery and the Event Show:

  1. Click the Upload tab on the left-hand side of this page.
  2. Choose which age group is appropriate and click "Buy Now"
  3. Complete the fields and upload the image (for online entries and artworks that will be displayed at the show)
  4. (For Event Show only) deliver work to Tommy Gun Warehouse by the date listed on the schedule on the top right-hand side of this page.


Liability

The art show does not provide insurance for loss or damage, Work is presented for exhibition and sale at artists own risk. The art show will take due and reasonable care to prevent damage or loss to all works. The art show will not be liable for any loss or damage.

Prizes & Art Sales

Prizes: First, Second and Third prizes will be awarded for each show.

Sales commission on work sold at the festival - 50%. Proceeds to go to Second Amendment
Foundation
. Donated works or works left at Festival show will be sold at silent auction, proceeds to go to S.A.F.


“Not For Sale” work can be submitted and need to be indicated as such at time of registration.

Online gallery will be on the website for a year. Online Gallery commission on sales - 15%.

Shipping of work sold from ROIFF online gallery is the responsibility of the artist.

  3. Upload image (Please submit a photo for online and artworks that will be at the event show)
  4. (For Event Show only) deliver work to Tommy Gun Warehouse by the date listed on the Rules & Info tab.

When checking out, please provide the artist name in the comment field so we can match it with your entry.

Rod of Iron festival Art Show Web Gallery

Images in the gallery are intended as imagery to inspire artists on the subject of the 2nd Amendment. Most images are not intended for sale and may not reflect the aesthetics of the founders of the festival.In respect to artistic expression, submitted art work can be judged and sold at artists request, prizes are awarded by independent jurors.The web gallery prospectus draws inspiration from artists, commentators, activists, politicians etc. In respect to fair notice, likeness of individuals may or may not have been obtained and have come from the public domain. We believe in the artistic discretion of artists first amendment right of self expression. If necessary we will consider art worthiness based on fair review.
